Christopher J. Rathfoot, M.D. – Otolaryngologist

Meet Dr. Christopher J. Rathfoot

Dr. Rathfoot earned his bachelor’s degree in microbiology and public health and his MD from Michigan State University. He did a surgical internship at Michigan State and a residency in otolaryngology and head and neck surgery at Vanderbilt University.

Dr. Rathfoot served with the U. S. Air Force and was stationed in Japan and at Elgin Air Force Base in Florida. While in the Air Force, he served as a consultant to the USAF Surgeon General for Material Command.

In addition to his specialties in otolaryngology, Dr. Rathfoot is certified in advanced cardiac life support and in advanced trauma life support. He was an instructor in the Joint U.S. Military Combat Casualty Care Unit.

He has written or co-authored several medical journal articles and is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology and the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy. Dr. Rathfoot and his wife Daniela have four children.
