Amy Pierce, Au.D., earned a Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, and a Master of Science degree as well as a Doctorate in Audiology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. She joined Greater Knoxville ENT full-time upon graduating in May 2017. Before joining our team, she completed a one-year externship at the Knoxville VA.
Amy loves working with and serving others. “I have family members with hearing loss and I’ve seen them withdraw and isolate themselves at gatherings because they can’t hear. I love working closely with my patients to help them re-engage and communicate with other people again.”
At Greater Knoxville ENT, Amy is specifically involved in hearing healthcare, which includes identifying hearing loss, counseling and rehabilitation with hearing aids, identifying balance disorders, and making appropriate recommendations for each individual patient.
When she’s not at work you can find her coaching competitive cheer and tumbling, serving at her local church, being outdoors, or doing crossfit.
