Leslie Smelcer, Au.D., is originally from East Tennessee. She graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Pathology in 2007, a Master of Science degree in Audiology in 2010, and a Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.) in 2012. Leslie completed a one-year externship at a private practice in Knoxville and worked in that same office for two years following graduation. She joined our staff at Greater Knox Ear, Nose, and Throat in May of 2014. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.
Leslie enjoys working with and treating the elderly population. She currently performs diagnostic hearing evaluations and is involved in various aspects of amplification.
Leslie resides in East Knoxville with her husband, two daughters, and two dogs. When she isn’t working, she enjoys reading, singing, hiking with her family, and serving at her church.
