Meet Kathleen Stanford, Au.D., CCC-A

Kathleen Stanford, Au.D., CCC-A is a native Tennessean from West Tennessee. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders at the University of Tennessee as well as a Master of Science and Doctorate in Audiology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Before joining our team, she worked in private audiology and at an otolaryngology practice in Houston, Texas.

She joined our staff at Greater Knoxville Ear Nose and Throat in 2022 shortly after being relocated back to Knoxville. Kathleen has her certificate of clinical competence in Audiology through the American Speech Language and Hearing Association.

Kathleen has a particular interest in hearing and vestibular diagnostic evaluations as well as assistive devices for improving hearing and tinnitus. Her role at GKENT is to provide comprehensive care for patients with hearing and balance issues. Kathleen is dedicated to helping patients achieve better hearing because she understands that untreated hearing loss can have a significant impact on a person’s quality of life.

Her goal is to provide personalized care that is tailored to the unique needs of each patient. She believes that everyone deserves to experience the joy of better hearing. Kathleen is committed to staying up-to-date with the latest advances in audiology, including the latest hearing aid technology. She works closely with each patient to ensure that they receive the best possible care.

Kathleen and her husband currently reside in West Knoxville with their two children. When she’s not at work, you can find her at the zoo with her family, exploring local coffee shops, hiking in the Smokies, and cheering on the Vols!
